Dutch research institute TNO regularly uses the high quality knowledge and expertise of EnergyGO in the area of Smart Grids, energy supply and software development.
Within TNO, EnergyGO has worked on the national-supported project “PowerMatching City II”, the European FP7 supported projects Web2Energy and EcoGrid and the IT development for the ITSF Smart Grid Test Centre.
TNO’s in-house developed PowerMatcher technology plays an important role in these project. This technology is used to study future energy scenario’s and perform field tests in the area of smart grids. TNO has made PowerMatcher available as an open source software project within the PowerMatcherSuite, which is maintained by the Flexible Power Alliance Network.
