HESI lab facilities
In the Hybrid Energy System Integration (HESI) facility of TNO, located on the EnTranCe terrain in Groningen, companies can test and improve the behavior and robustness of new energy-related technologies products and services.
During the construction phase, from spring 2016 until the official opening on the 31st of January 2017, EnergyGO was hired as technical project manager. EnergyGO had both a coordinating role between stakeholders (management and researchers of TNO) and executing parties (construction and installation companies), and an engineering role by designing several experimental set-ups.
After the official opening, EnergyGO continued work for the facility by setting up the operational and QSHE (quality safety health and environment) processes, documenting all installations and experiments and designing additional (components for) experimental set-ups.
